IN 1929, Paul COUZYN ESTABLISHED THE FIRM THAT WAS LATER TO BECOME COUZYN, HERTZOG & HORAK.

Paul Couzyn shared the early years of the practice with partners who went on to become politicians (Hans Strijdom - Prime Minister of the Union of South-Africa), captains of international industry (Dirk Hertzog – co-founder of the Rembrandt Group with his friend Anton Rupert) and Attie Horak (noted lawyer and scholar).

Combining superior talent with a supportive environment, Couzyn Hertzog & Horak has long been a breeding ground of lawyers of the highest caliber.
