CITY OF TSHWANE PROPERTY OWNERS DO NOT OVERPAY ON YOUR RATES AND TAXES
Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality will be publishing their General Valuation Roll in April 2020 which will be valid for the next four years.
DID YOU KNOW?
Prior to the implementation of the valuation roll, ratepayers will be afforded the opportunity to inspect the valuation roll, and if you are of the opinion that your valuation is over-inflated, you can lodge an objection. The valuation with the applicable tariff will determine your property tax payable for the next 4-year period.
If an objection is not lodged during the advertised objection period, there is little prospect of having the municipal valuation amended, barring special circumstances.
WHAT NEXT?
SHOULD YOU FIND THAT YOUR PROPERTY IS OVER–VALUED
We will attend to the necessary valuation and or objection on your behalf. Please contact our offices for your free consultation regarding your municipal property valuation and possible objection for the year 2020 – 2024.
WE URGE ALL PROPERTY OWNERS TO MAKE USE OF THIS OPPORTUNITY TO SAVE HARD-EARNED MONEY IN THESE ECONOMICALLY CHALLENGING TIMES.
